  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook cheese tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions until translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Add bell peppers and garlic; cook until peppers are tender.
  3. Push veggies aside; add beef strips and sear until browned (approximately 4-5 minutes).
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture; stir well. Gradually pour in milk and beef broth while stirring continuously until thickened. Add provolone cheese and mix until melted.
