  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust

Instructions

  1. Place chicken, carrots, potatoes, onion, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour in chicken broth until covered. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  3. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks.
  4. In a bowl, mix heavy cream and flour; stir into the slow cooker. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and roll out pie crust over the filling in an oven-safe dish.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
