  • 300 g pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 400 g canned chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 100 ml apple vinegar (optional)
  • 200 ml beef stock
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 100 ml heavy cream
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef; cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, apple vinegar (if using), beef stock, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Combine the sauce with the cooked pasta and serve hot.
