  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1¼ cup coconut flour or almond flour
  • ½ cup maple syrup (honey or agave)
  • ¼ cup additional peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon refined coconut oil
  • Salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9×5-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup of creamy peanut butter and ½ cup of maple syrup until smooth.
  3. Add in 1¼ cups of coconut flour or almond flour; mix until combined.
  4. Press the dough into the prepared baking dish evenly.
  5. Chill in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Melt together ½ cup of dark chocolate chips, 1 tablespoon of refined coconut oil, and ¼ cup of peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  7. Pour melted chocolate over the chilled base and spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle salt flakes on top if desired.
  9. Return to the freezer for another 10-15 minutes until set.
  10. Lift out using parchment paper and slice into squares.
