  • 2 lb flank beef (chopped)
  • 2 large carrots (sliced)
  • 1 white onion (sliced)
  • 1 lb baby corn
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup light-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef into strips and place in a shallow dish.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and minced garlic. Pour half over the beef to marinate.
  3. Slice the onion and carrots while the beef marinates.
  4. Heat olive oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and cook until golden brown; remove from pan.
  5. In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add carrots and baby corn; cook until tender.
  6. Return the beef to the pan along with remaining marinade; combine until heated through.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
